About The Role
Job Summary The Mechanical Engineering Utility Technician is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, adjusting and maintaining a variety of utility systems, including high pressure steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration, well water, potable water, hot water, fire suppression, pneumatic, and HVAC equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with a diverse range of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to perform routine and emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and system inspections. The operator must be proactive, self-directed, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
