The Role Under the direction of the Working Shop Supervisor , the CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for Initiating machining processes, tool selections, feeds, and speeds for a variety of materials. Requirements Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items Maintain production rates according to established standards. Notify Supervisor with any problems of procedures or equipment. Performs set-ups and operate CNC Lathe Machine Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees. Maintain high awareness of safety procedures. #1AndritzWay Core Behaviors Customer Focus Ownership for Performance Shared Commitment Openness Job Specific Competencies Capable of using a micrometer, calipers, and hand tools Ability to read blueprints Skilled on an overhead crane Can read and Edit “G” Code Programming Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 3 years experience operating CNC lathes Physical Requirements As required to individually perform Key Result items. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
