YOUR NEW ROLE

• Platform operations and support
• Support, maintain and improve enterprise platforms and front-office applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve incidents across application, infrastructure and database layers.
• Monitor platform health, identify risks early and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain documentation, operational runbooks and support procedures.
• DevOps and automation
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Automate repeatable support, deployment and environment management activities.
• Integrate software components into fully functional platform solutions.
• Contribute to software verification plans, quality assurance procedures and release readiness.
• Cloud and infrastructure management
• Support AWS cloud services including EC2, RDS, S3, DNS, certificates and load balancers.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, resilience and disaster recovery activities.
• Use infrastructure and automation tooling to improve operational efficiency.
• Governance, risk and quality
• Comply with project plans, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Apply security, auditability and quality practices across delivery and support activities.
• Identify operational risks, manage priorities and escalate issues where required.
• Support continuous improvement, simplification and automation initiatives.
• Stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technology, Architecture and Head of Technology stakeholders.
• Provide timely, clear and professional support to business partners.
• Contribute to a trusted-advisor relationship through strong service delivery and problem solving.

What you'll bring

• 6+ years of experience in technology, application development, application support, DevOps or platform engineering.
• Software delivery and DevOps experience across build, deployment and release activities.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux system administration.
• Experience with platform automation tools, database management, AWS, Jenkins and GitHub.
• Experience with AWS cloud management, including EC2, RDS, S3, DNS, certificates and load balancers.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell and SQL Server.
• Experience with workflow and delivery tools such as Jira or Rally.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and data-analysis capability.
