Retail Junior Accountant

Job Purpose We are looking for a Retail Junior Accountant reporting directly to the Retail Team Leader. This is a local role based in Poznań. The position focuses on supporting GL, AR and AP process for Swiss entity. Responsibilities: General Ledger operations: journal entries, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliations, intracompany reconciliations Carrying out month-end, year-end closing tasks Identify potential process improvements KPI analysis, root cause identification and improvement suggestions Ensures daily operations are carried out according to Group finance policies and internal control requirements Daily bank statements posting and reconciliation AR tasks such as customer invoicing, posting standard accounting transactions, GL transitory account reconciliation, regular communication with point of sales Maintenance and clarification of customer accounts and outstanding items Processing and posting AP invoices Support to any local related queries within responsibility area Assisting with team/departmental projects (may include limited travel) Other ad-hoc accounting/finance tasks Qualifications & Experience Required Education, Master, other certification: University degree in Finance or Accounting Experience (years): Experience in accounting role nice to have Technical Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel Languages Skills: Fluent English Soft/Behavioral Skills: Attention to detail and accuracy High level of customer service Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to work under time pressure
