Airfield Management Shift Lead

The Work The Airfield Management Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating airfield operations during assigned duty periods to ensure the airfield remains safe, effective, and fully mission‑ready. The position exists to maintain continuous situational awareness of airfield activities and to act as the on‑scene representative of Airfield Management during normal operations, emergencies, and non‑duty hours. Shift Leads support the flying mission by monitoring airfield conditions, facilitating aircraft movements, and ensuring essential airfield services are conducted in accordance with Air Force directives, local procedures, and safety standards.
