Histology Technician I - PRN

Performs essential duties in the histology laboratory according to accepted practices.Performs frozen section processing for Mohs micrographic surgery - Cuts tissue in ultra thin sections modifying technique based on tissue type. Performs routine, special and Immunohistochemical staining procedures. Prepares tissue specimens for routine and special processing, selects correct protocol based on physician orders.
