Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) under the supervision of an OTR/L will screen clients, carry out treatment plans, and oversee progress of clients with the goals of living independently in the community. In addition to individual treatments the COTA will create and run therapeutic groups to promote participation and independence within the client’s chosen communities.
