Labor Relations Supervisor

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Labor Relations Supervisor administers the Chicago Park District's labor and employee relations program, including contract administration, grievance processing, and disciplinary procedures across all bargaining units. The position supervises labor relations staff and advises management on the application of collective bargaining agreements, District personnel rules, and employment law. The Labor Relations Supervisor represents management in grievance proceedings, collaborates with legal counsel on discipline and terminations, and supports the District's collective bargaining negotiating team. This is a professional-level supervisory role requiring sound judgment, strong analytical and communication skills, and substantial experience in public sector labor relations.
