Job Description

As the Director, Head of Finance Enterprise Operations & Services (EO&S) Financial Planning & Analys is (F P&A) and Center or Expertise (COE), you are part of the EO&S Finance leadership team, which offers you a great opportunity to own the execution and standardization of key FP&A operations processes, to drive the FP&A and wider Finance transformation roadmap, and to manage a large and diverse FP&A team. The FP&A EO&S team is a strong international and dynamic team of approximately 25 people with diverse backgrounds and a strong focus on speed, discipline, and execution. It is a global team spread across various locations. You will report to the Head of Finance EO&S.

This is a global position. While the Netherlands is the preferred location, we welcome applications from qualified candidates across all locations.

Your r ole

Your main responsibility is to ensure proactive and timely high - quality analysis in the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and broader EO&S domain s, that supports the business partners in decision making. You will manage a team of FP&A managers and analysts, and you ensure deep knowledge and competencies are developed within the team. You will deploy world class E2E financial processes within the Operations domain and ensure alignment with other FP&A centers and business partners.

  • Deliver actionable analysis and insight for decision-making and value creation, and drive performance management. Monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives towards key stakeholders in the areas of Operations in Operations leadership, Factories, Procurement and Transfer Pricing.
  • Build an internal network with strong links with Finance leadership, Operations, Functions, other Finance pillars, other functions and the E2E business transformation community on process alignment, organizational (re)design and Accelerate Productivity target realization.
  • Drive lean and efficient reporting, (scenario) analysis, financial planning processes, business cases and continuous process improvements Links and streamlines E2E FP&A processes within the financial community
  • Be the right hand of the HoF EO& S , and supporting the Philips Head of FP&A responsible for actionable insights into the Operations Finance performance in MEC, Forecast and AOP.
  • Manage and supervise FP&A resources and ensure robust FP&A workforce planning, knowledge management, training and coaching
  • Drive ongoing FP&A initiatives supporting the Finance strategic priorities. Perform regular customer pulse checks to ensure effortless customer service
  • Drive and lead the AI buildout in Finance EO&S
  • Quality, timeliness and accuracy of core planning, reporting and analysis deliverables in and beyond the Philips planning & performance cycle NPS / customer satisfaction survey of key stakeholders

You’re a right fit if

  • MSc/ BSc/ MBA / CPA or equal qualification
  • Progressive working experience and roles in e.g. Finance, FP&A, Business Partnering, Controlling, management reporting and analysis, and team management, preferably within an international environment and with specific Operations experience
  • Proven depth of end- to end business knowledge, financial analytics and strategic insight
  • Very data savy , always looking for possibilities use AI and automation and simplification and forward looking financial insights
  • Strong political acumen, with an ability to recognize organizational and business differences and work to effect alignments
  • Experience in managing large matrix organizations and globally dispersed virtual teams
  • Proven ability to marry financial constructs with business knowledge and to partner with general and functional team
  • Progressive experience in managing a finance team, with focus on coaching, management development and grooming future talent
  • A change agent, who initiates , coaches and directs Finance staff teams and stakeholders to or through change – you are adept at implementations of change through effective communication and leadership techniques

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 93,049 –€ 155,081 . This is a global position and t he indicated salary range applies to the primary location for this role; final compensation may vary by country. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision. How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart . For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
