Director, Payroll

The day-to-day role focuses on maintaining a robust control environment by overseeing payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely tax remittances across all US and Canada jurisdictions. You will manage a remote team of finance professionals, using delegation skills to distribute tasks effectively across varying skill levels while supporting their growth through performance enablement and professional development programs. Beyond immediate operational oversight, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, optimise workflows through automation, and manage 3rd-party vendor relationships. Your work also involves high-level strategic tasks, such as supporting audits, and executing the company's payroll roadmap to scale alongside business growth.
