Surgical Technician First Assist, CVOR - Operating Room

The Surgical Technician (ST) First Assist is responsible for assisting in direct care to patients undergoing surgical intervention by selecting, setting up, and passing of sterile instruments to the surgeon and assistants, under the direction of the RN and the surgeon. This position requires on-call coverage. The Surgical Technician reports to the clinical manager. This position is for the Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascualr team.Responsibilities: The CSFA/CSA may perform specific significant surgical tasks under Professional Supervision.
