Medication Asst Counselor - Patient Access

The Medication Assistance Counselor reports to the Network Financial Advocacy Manager and works with both inpatients and outpatients to obtain free or discounted pharmaceuticals from manufactures, patient assistance programs, or other sources. And performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Education- High School diploma or equivalentMinimum Work Experienc- Experience in healthcare setting or physician practiceRequired Skills- Experience with Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint- Ability to work in self-directed manner to accomplish goals- Ability to be a strong advocate for both patients and the hospital system
