Job Summary The Infection Preventionist (IP) is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control Program. The IP conducts surveillance, identifies and investigates healthcare-associated infections, and ensures accurate reporting through NHSN and state systems.
