Job Summary

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating materials, equipment, spare parts, chemicals, and services required for chemical refinery manufacturing operations. This role ensures timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining compliance with company policies, technical specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.

The Purchasing Specialist works closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, QA/QC, Logistics, and suppliers to support uninterrupted refinery operations and efficient procurement processes.
