Sr. R&D Engineer

The Senior R&D Engineer is responsible for developing, scaling up, and commercializing hydrometallurgical processes for the recovery and purification of valuable metals, supporting projects from laboratory research through pilot testing to full-scale production. The role involves process design and optimization, including preparation of process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, equipment selection and sizing, process test work management, capacity analysis, and engineering calculations. The position also supports project evaluation through trade-off studies, equipment bid reviews, operating and capital cost estimation, and the preparation of technical reports, while ensuring that process specifications and designs meet project objectives and operational requirements.
