Diesel Mechanic

In a team environment and under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance Services, the Diesel Mechanic performs journeyperson level mechanical work on natural gas and diesel generator sets as well as associated support equipment including, pumps, compressors, radiators, heat exchangers, lubricating oil systems, fuel oil systems, cooling systems, and other mechanical equipment. The incumbent will be responsible for routine maintenance as set out by the manufacturer and the Corporation's CMMS program as well as conduct minor and major overhauls associated with the operation of two (2) large natural gas generator sets in Inuvik.
