About The Role

The Housing Specialist role is to complete targeted tasks that will help young adults identify and achieve their housing goals. The Housing Specialist will report directly to the AVP of Older Youth Services. Assisting youth with the goal of APPLA locate housing by maintaining and developing a relationship with the youth Completing all housing applications (NYCHA/Section 8/SH &Vouchers) T to assit youth with locating permanent housing in NYC Collaborating with stakeholders & agency staff (medical/MH/ case planning) to to support youth with the housing process Requesting Furniture Grant Assistance to assit youth wiith obtianing furniture for their new apartment/home Responsible for ensuring...
