About The Role

The primary purpose of the Health Educator is to; facilitate evidence-based curriculum with fidelity to youth between the ages 10-21 that encourages safe sexual behaviors and a reduction in STD/STI risk and adolescent pregnancy. Health educators will also serve as a resource to their community and organization connecting those in need to family planning resources, medical clinics, STI/STD testing, and other sexual health related resources. - Facilitate selected evidence-based curriculum with fidelity to youth between the ages of 10-21 in a group setting, that encourages abstinence or risk averse sexual behavior in order to reduce rates of STI/STD infection and pregnancy in the adolescent population. - Complete mandatory training in delivery and implementation of...
