Transmission Engineer

As a Transmission Engineer, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical transmission and distribution systems, adhering to all safety and environmental policies, and coordinating with various stakeholders. You will have access to cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment that helps achieve project goals efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the design and review of electrical transmission and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Engage in the design and review of transmission and distribution structures and foundations
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation, including project specifications and layouts. Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions that meet technical requirements and adhere to project timelines.
• Conduct site assessments and field inspections to evaluate design implementation and construction practices.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to facilitate project success.
• Ensure that all engineering work adheres to relevant industry codes and standards.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or related field.
• +5 years of experience working on power transmission projects
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and PLS-CADD or PLS - POLE or PLS - TOWER software is a must
• English Proficiency B2
