General Surgery- Advanced Practice Provider

Clinical Care • Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to general surgery patients. • Conduct inpatient rounds, perform focused history and physical examinations, document progress notes, and develop care plans in collaboration with the surgical team. • Perform bedside procedures within scope of practice (e.g., suture removal, drain management, wound care). • Assist surgeons in the operating room as needed, including first assisting. • Manage patient flow in surgical clinics, including evaluation, follow-up, test review, and coordination of care. • Respond to inpatient consults in a timely manner...
