Registered Nurse - IV Solutions

The VASCULAR ACCESS/IV TEAM RN is directly accountable to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsible for IV insertions, IV site changes, dressing changes, blood draws, PICC line assessments/insertions, PICC line removal, central line removal, Rapid Response/Code Blue Team coverage and data collection. Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adults and older adults. Communicates with physicians, co-workers and/or nursing director, as appropriate about the patient�s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
