PPS Coordinator - Rehab

Increases consumer/physician/referral source demand for inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation services. Promotes community education in rehabilitation & wellness. Assists in the development & implementation of the marketing plan. Provides pre-admission assessment of patient candidates for the Rehabilitation Care Unit, including the determination of the discharge plan, and obtaining Medical Director & business office approval. Establishes and maintains optimum working relationships with third party payers, case management organizations, physicians, discharge planners and community referral sources.
