Cardiac Device Specialist

The Cardiac Device Specialist is directly responsible for the monitoring, billing and programming of all cardiac devices such as Pacemakers, Defibrillators, and Loop Recorders. The Cardiac Device Specialist will chart and document all device checks and complete reports for each patient as part of patients’ medical record and as required under state and federal guidelines. The Cardiac Device Specialist communicates with the physician(s) and patients regarding procedure and devices. Monitors and records device logs and information related to manufacturer notices.
