AI & Data Analytics Specialist

As part of our Internal Audit function, you will contribute to providing independent assurance over the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and data-driven solutions across the Group. You will support audits covenring the full AI lifecycle (data, model development, deployment, monitoring) and help assess whether AI systems are designed and used in a controlled manner. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine data / engineering expertise with audit and risk management, whith a highly regulated financila environment. Support Internal Audit in enhancing risk coverage and efficiency through advanced AI and analytics, with a focus on practical, auditable use cases in a regulated banking environment. Key Accountabilities Support the execution of audits covering AI models, algorithms, and data pipelines Support continuous auditing initiatives Assess the design and effectiveness of controls throughout the AI lifecycle Review model development, validation and monitoring practices Design and execute data-driven audit procedures (e.g. transaction analysis, anomaly detection) Develop IL/ML use cases supporting audits (AML, payments, KYC) Extract, clean and analyse large datasets (SQL, Python) Build reusable analytics tools and scripts Translate technical outputs into clear audit insights for senior stakeholder Knowledge and Experience MSc in engineering / Data Science / AI / Applied Mathematics Attributes and Qualities Ability to challenge and questiob complex models and processes Structured and pragmatic problem-solving Clear and structured communication skills Ability to explain technical results in Business terms Critical Thinking Technical Skills Knowledge of LLMs / GenAI tools Strong Python, SQL and data manipulation MS Office suite Languages Skills Fluent in English
