The Technical Analyst, Enterprise Applications works with the Enterprise Applications team to support, configure, document, integrate, and enhance business systems across Silvi Materials. This is a technical enterprise applications role, not a data analytics, BI reporting, or dashboard-development role; those responsibilities are handled by a separate team. The role focuses on technical requirements, system documentation, application support, workflow automation, integration support, testing, release coordination, and hands-on development or scripting work for enterprise applications. This position supports a Microsoft-centered application environment, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as the primary ERP, Microsoft Azure, Power Automate, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, system integrations, APIs, and other business applications used across operations, finance, sales, dispatch, fleet, and related functions. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Application Support & Configuration: Configure, maintain, and support ERP, dispatch, CRM and other enterprise applications. Perform user access support, application setup, configuration changes, issue troubleshooting, upgrade support, and code-promotion coordination. Technical Requirements & Documentation: Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, process flows, system specifications, configuration notes, test scripts, release notes, integration documentation, and support documentation. Maintain accurate technical documentation for enterprise applications and cross-system processes. D365 F&O and Microsoft Application Environment: Support technical work related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and connected applications. Assist with configuration, testing, issue resolution, documentation, integrations, enhancements, and coordination with internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners. Development, Scripting & Automation: Assist with development, configuration, scripting, and low-code automation activities using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure services, and other approved development tools. Build or support automated workflows that improve system reliability and operational efficiency. System Integrations & APIs: Support integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise systems. Assist with API documentation, interface testing, troubleshooting, mapping requirements, and integration issue resolution. Azure, DevOps & SDLC Support : Work within Azure DevOps or similar ITSM/SDLC tools to track requirements, bugs, testing, releases, change requests, code promotions, and deployment activities. Support structured development, testing, approval, and release-management processes. Testing & Quality Control: Perform technical testing and support User Acceptance Testing by validating configurations, integrations, workflows, permissions, and system changes. Document defects, validate fixes, and coordinate testing cycles with business users, IT, vendors, and implementation partners. Technical Troubleshooting & Vendor Coordination: Investigate application issues, identify root causes, document findings, and coordinate resolutions with internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party providers. Monitor system performance and proactively identify risks, issues, or improvement opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, Enterprise Applications team members, developers, vendors, and IT Security to design, test, implement, and support technical solutions that align with business needs and enterprise standards. User Enablement: Create technical support materials, knowledge-base articles, training documentation, and user guides for new applications, system changes, workflows, and integrations. Support training when new systems or technical processes are introduced. Reporting Structure VP of IT ↓ Manager – Enterprise Applications ↓ Technical Analyst – Enterprise Applications Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. 2+ years of experience in a systems analyst, IT analyst, or IT-related role, with proven implementation and/or support experience. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of databases (SQL), data visualization tools, API connections, cloud infrastructure, and system development lifecycles (SDLC). Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and analyze data to guide decision-making. Knowledge of large-scale systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS). Microsoft D365 F&O experience is a plus. Experience with software development and programming languages. Excellent communication skills are essential to engage with senior leadership, project stakeholders, and cross functional teams. A track record of supporting complex system implementations or upgrades is a plus. Experience with ITSM systems like DevOps or Jira is a plus. Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is preferred. Knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or other technical credentials are a plus. Experience with financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis is a plus. Proven understanding of network architecture and IT infrastructure. Excellent problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Familiarity with cybersecurity / IT security principles and best practices. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
