We are excited about the opportunity to work with you and glad you want to be part of a team of talented individuals who together are changing the way the world communicates Description As a Fabrication Technician you will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. Operate equipment in performing alignment, masking, etch deposition, testing, and diffusion. Manage workflows to optimize equipment output performance.Position to reside in D-Shift (SA,TH,F ; SA,W,TH,F 6pm - 6:00am). This is for a contingent opening. Responsibilities Performs functions associated with all wafer production operations, including photolithography, thin film, etch and diffusion. Performs set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Uses sophisticated programs to track and control wafers through the production process. May coach or train other lower level technicians, to develop teamwork, leadership and technical skills. Works with engineering in conducting tests and experiments. Required Experience and Skills High School Diploma or equivalent GED Basic mathematical computations and writing tasks Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination, with the ability to manipulate components of various sizes Ability to understand directions and adhere to established procedures Ability to stand for long periods of time and to perform repetitive tasks Lifts, handles, and reaches to use tools such as pliers, large tweezers, hand-held scanners, etc. Basic computer knowledge and skills including MS Office Suite Dependable team player Desired Experience and Skills Prior semiconductor manufacturing experience, with knowledge of overall Wafer FAB operational proficiency (process, tools, flows) Knowledge of cleanroom practices and protocols Problem solving abilities to troubleshoot As a Fabrication Technician you will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices.
