About The Role
Key Responsibilities – Burn-In Technician
Operate and monitor Burn-In (BI), Soak Test, SHTOL, and environmental chambers according to approved manufacturing procedures and product specifications.
Perform product setup, loading, unloading, and configuration of burn-in racks, fixtures, sockets, and chambers to ensure correct execution of stress tests.
Verify oven/chamber temperature settings, airflow, and operating parameters to ensure compliance with product datasheet and qualification requirements.
Monitor burn-in processes, identify abnormalities, and respond promptly to alarms, equipment faults, or product failures.
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on burn-in chambers, racks, fixtures, connectors, and associated hardware according to maintenance schedules.
Conduct basic troubleshooting of burn-in systems, chamber controllers, power supplies, communication interfaces, and fixtures. Escalate complex issues to Engineering or Equipment Maintenance when required.
