Coordinator for Construction Site

As the consortium leader, Tenova is the driving force behind SALCOS®, the groundbreaking program aimed at significantly reducing CO2 emissions in steel production. The program targets a step-by-step transformation process away from carbon-intensive conventional steelmaking toward direct reduction through the flexible and increasing use of hydrogen. Ultimately, CO2 emissions in the process chain can be reduced by more than 95%, and upon full implementation, one percent of total CO2 emissions in Germany can be avoided. This is achieved thanks to Tenova’s direct reduction plant technology. For this complex plant project, we are seeking a Construction Site Coordinator (m/f/d) at Salzgitter : You will be responsible for providing construction site support and administrative assistance to the Italian and Mexican engineers on-site at the Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH plant on behalf of Tenova. The international experts will monitor and support the construction of the direct reduction plant in close proximity to the construction site, and you will be right in the thick of the transformation process toward CO²-free steel production. Your tasks: Organizational and administrative coordination as well as commercial assistance Administrative support for the construction manager and HSE manager Errands as well as management of company vehicles Time tracking for all employees on the construction site “Go-to person” for the international construction team, including travel bookings Point of contact for everyone on the construction site as well as for project management in Italy and Germany Your profile: Commercial or technical training and, ideally, construction site experience Class B driver’s license required You thrive on flexibility, are communicative, and enjoy organizing You maintain a clear overview in hectic situations and can set priorities You handle computer work and data entry with an eye for detail Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel) You enjoy working in an international team where your support is valued Very good German and English skills We offer you: A creative working environment with varied and challenging fields of activity An independent way of working in an international team An attractive salary Freedom to design new processes and improve existing workflows We look forward to receiving your detailed application, stating your salary expectations and the earliest possible starting date here or at .
