We are now looking for a Young Graduate Design Engineer to join our 18-month Young Graduate Program, designed to accelerate your development and prepare you for a long-term engineering career within our organisation. Job Summary Join our 18-month Young Graduate Program, where you will complete three rotations across key technical domains, with a strong focus on Design Engineering. This programme offers you the chance to: Develop hands-on experience in an exciting and innovative manufacturing environment with exposure to engineering, facility management and maintenance. Work on real business-critical projects from day one Gain exposure to manufacturing, quality and cross-functional teams Build a strong internal network across Terumo Europe Benefit from working with experience colleagues rotation coaches throughout your journey At the end of the programme, you will transition into a permanent role aligned with your strengths and interests. Job Responsibilities During your rotations, you will: Support design and development of manufacturing equipment and processes in collaboration with experienced engineers Contribute to manufacturing processes improvements, factory innovation and lifecycle management initiatives Participate in cross-functional projects involving manufacturing, product, quality and regulatory teams Analyse technical challenges and propose practical, data-driven solutions Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and quality standards in all activities Take ownership of assigned deliverables and actively contribute to team objectives Your exact responsibilities will evolve across rotations to ensure a broad and meaningful learning experience. Profile Description We are looking for curious, driven individuals who want to make an impact. The candidate needs to be based and legally entitled to work in Belgium before the start of the program, October 1st 2026. We are looking for: Master’s degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical or Electrical Recently graduated or maximum 1 year of work experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills in Ducth and English You stand out if you: Demonstrate a strong interest in manufacturing design linked to mechanical and/or electrical engineering Show a clear growth mindset and learning agility Are proactive, collaborative and eager to take ownership Have a genuine interest in working in a regulated, high-impact industry Offer A structured and fully supported development journey Hands-on experience across different engineering domains Coaching, mentoring and tailored training Exposure to a leading medical technology environment Opportunity to build a long-term career within Terumo Europe A dynamic, international and purpose-driven workplace A competitive starting salary with financial progression throughout the program This is more than a first job.
