General Summary Under the general direction of the Dean, Provost and Executive Deputy Chancellor (Dean/Provost), University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, the Chief of Staff to the Dean/Provost (Chief of Staff) is responsible for assisting the Dean/Provost in the administration of the Office of the Dean/Provost. The Chief of Staff works directly with the Dean/Provost and UMass Chan administration on the range of issues facing the School.
