Production Technician III -3179

The Production Technician is responsible for maintaining stamping presses and assembly lines to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production. This role troubleshoots equipment and stamping issues, identifies root causes, performs repairs, and supports maintenance activities. The technician sets up, operates, and optimizes progressive dies in coil-fed presses up to 100 tons, conducts die changes and startups, and performs quality inspections using manual and electronic measuring equipment. They collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and tooling teams, lead setup technicians, and apply 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement principles to enhance productivity, quality, and process efficiency.
