SpEd Classroom Teaching Aide

Under the supervision of the Special Education group at the Edith Bowen Laboratory School, this position will provide instruction to small groups of children with learning disabilities and/or work one-on-one with individual students. Learning disabilities may include emotional and behavioral disorders, communication issues, challenges, and physical disabilities. The primary work of a Special Education Aide is to make sure that he or she follows a pre-planned course of action to meet special education objectives.
