Head Start Mentor Classroom Teacher Assistant

Working alongside the Mentor Teacher, Demonstration Classroom, this position helps promote quality operations in the Head Start program by providing direct, on-the job professional development to Head Start and Pre-K Counts Teacher Assistants in addition to the responsibility for supporting all classroom activities. This position provides various coaching techniques for the teaching assistant staff to become more proficient in their role. This position works with other team members to support the goals of the program, including parent involvement.
