Investment Officer

Group/Division: TRUST AND ASSET MANAGEMENT GROUP (TAMG) Department/Branch: INVESTMENT AND TRADING DIVISION (ITD) JOB SUMMARY: The Investment Officer is responsible for developing product propositions that address client needs and objectives and managing their performance. This role involves market research, product structuring, investment strategy formulation, and ongoing portfolio management and entails close collaboration with stakeholders within TAMG and the Bank. The Investment Officer ensures that investment strategies align with market trends, risk management principles, and company goals while focusing on delivering optimal returns for investors. Key responsibilities include developing and managing tailored investment funds, collaborating with internal teams to design new products based on market demand, conducting market research and financial analysis, monitoring the performance of existing funds, preparing fund-related materials, and staying informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain competitiveness. Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managerial capacity in Product Development or Portfolio Management in the Trust or Asset Management industry. Knowledge and Skills Required: 1. Effective oral and written communication skills 2. In-depth understanding of financial markets, economics, investments and credit 3. High degree of efficiency in data interpretation 4. Trust banking laws, general banking laws 5. Management, people management skills 6. Outstanding interpersonal skills 7. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Bloomberg Interaction Requirements: 1.
