Collections Officer

Key Responsibilities Managing and monitoring delinquent mortgage/real estate loan accounts. Coordinating with borrowers to negotiate payment arrangements, restructuring, or settlement options. Preparing account assessments, collection strategies, and remedial action plans. Monitoring legal, foreclosure, and asset recovery activities in coordination with Legal and Collection units. Ensuring accurate account documentation, reportorial requirements, and status updates. Recommending appropriate recovery actions to maximize collections and minimize credit losses. Coordinating with external collection agencies, appraisers, and other service providers when necessary. Preparing management reports on account status, collections, recoveries, and remedial actions. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field. Background in collections, remedial management, credit review, loan recovery, or mortgage lending. Knowledge of real estate mortgage processing, foreclosure procedures, and credit risk management. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
