About The Role
J OB SUMMARY: The Branch Head provides strategic direction and operational management support to branch employees by assuming overall accountability for service and product delivery, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, implementing an effective sales management system, ensuring risk assessment compliance, maintaining branch upkeep/orderliness and communicating/instituting/monitoring compliance to company policies and control procedures to achieve the unit’s business plans and corporate targets set by Top Management . Major Responsibilities: MARKETING FUNCTIONS: 1. Formulates marketing goals and business plans by outlining strategies in building customer relationships/networking and account development to meet branch objectives and targets set by the management. 2. Approves and/or signs (singly, together or alternately with the Branch Cashier or the Branch Operations Head) all transactional documents including inter-office memos/business correspondences to ensure precise and timely approval of branch transactions. Performed 30% of time daily 3 . Solicits MCBL production by continuously offering them to prospective qualified clienteles and refers the same to the FSA to obtain more profit for the branch. (Performed 10% of time as necessary) Attends to clients’ concern on credit facilities or documentations both for existing and prospective accounts by evaluating loan applications and purpose of the same to address the financial requirements of qualified clients. (As the need arises; Performed 30% of the time) OPERATIONS AND CONTROL: 1. Attends to all operational concerns and liaises with clients by addressing/resolving their complaints to maintain and develop relationship with existing/prospective clients and ensure smooth flow of daily operations. (Performed 30% of time daily). 2. Approves and/or signs (singly, together or alternately with the Branch Cashier or the Branch Operations Head) all transactional documents including inter-office memos/business correspondences to ensure precise and timely approval of branch transactions. Performed 30% of time daily 3. Reviews all loan recommendations thoroughly as Lead Member of Branch Credit Committee by checking all inputs/pertinent data in the loan recommendation to ensure fast and accurate presentation of all loan accounts. (Performed 30% of time as the need arises) 4. Holds the key of the branch (alternately with the cashier or BOH ); performs overriding function alternately with the Branch Cashier to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to terminals and vault. (Performed 5% of time daily) ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS: 1. Implements bank policies, regulations and control procedures by strict adherence to the rules and regulations set by the bank to ensure compliance and avoid unnecessary irregularities. Performed 100% of time daily 2. Directs the work of subordinate-officer/staff, recommends management actions vis-à-vis employee relations concern to further ensure harmonious and peaceful workplace in the branch. Performed 10% of time as necessary 3. Trains and develops employees through rotational assignment, cross-posting and enrollment in internal and external training programs to enhance their skills and prepare them for higher responsibilities (As needed) 4. Ensures upkeep and maintenance of branch premises, property and equipment to reduce waste of resources and space Performed 15% of time as necessary 5. As alternate of BOH, ensures that operational risks inherent in all material products, activities, processes and systems are checked and reported to ensure the safety and protection of branch personnel Performed 15% of time as necessary 6. Performs cashiering functions in case of exigencies
