IT Security Specialist About You & the Role As an IT Security Specialist , you will play a vital role in safeguarding the organization's banking application systems by managing user access, maintaining security profiles, and ensuring compliance with established security policies. You are detail-oriented, security-conscious, and committed to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of critical systems. You are also comfortable collaborating with different teams to support secure and efficient business operations. What You Will Be Doing Update and maintain user profiles across various banking application systems based on approved user requests. Process and maintain user access rights in accordance with established security procedures. Update and maintain reviewed User Access Profiles and Access Matrices endorsed by the Information Security Office. Configure and maintain required security parameters within banking application systems. Ensure all access requests and security-related activities comply with existing bank policies and standards. Participate in meetings and discussions to provide recommendations for strengthening security controls and enhancing existing processes. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. What Success Looks Like User profile and access requests are processed accurately and within agreed timelines. Security records and access matrices are consistently maintained and up to date. Access administration activities fully comply with established security policies and controls. Opportunities to improve security controls and operational processes are proactively identified and communicated. Strong collaboration is maintained with business users, IT teams, and management stakeholders. Qualifications We Value Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any business-related course. Background in Information Technology; exposure to Information Security is an advantage. Basic programming knowledge and an interest in process improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and management-level officers.
