About The Role
Reporting to the Head of HK Treasury, the candidate will be acting as part of a regional treasury team responsible for the financing activities in both the money market and capital market. The role offers exposure to the public market and involves collaboration with Front Office and Back Office functions within the CICC Hong Kong Group. The job responsibilities associated with this role include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the supervisor in overseeing the group’s funding requirements and making relevant financing plans available at a regional level;
- Analyzing and assisting the onboarding of new business initiatives and products interpretation, understanding market dynamics and funding needs on an ongoing basis;
- Participating in the Group’s note issuance activities;
- Liaising with banks on credit facility applications and maintenance;
- Calculating and maintaining records of financing costs and fund transfer pricing;
- Assisting in establishing a sound treasury management system including the maintenance of the Treasury database, management reporting and the setting up and updating of policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate treasury, business treasury, financial accounting, management reporting, treasury operations or related areas in banking or financial institutions;
- Working experience in note issuance and/or loan documentation is an added advantage;
- Knowledge of financial accounting;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a detail-oriented and customer-focused mindset;
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking and dynamic environment;
- Good command of English and Putonghua.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics;
- Qualified member of CPA or CFA would be an added advantage.
