▶︎ Job Details: • Job Title: Accounting Manager • Client: Manufacturing • Working Location: Corona, CA (onsite) • Salary : DOE (80-100K per yr) • Employment Type: Permanent/Full-time • Language: English ▶︎ What will you do: • Manage and oversee accounting operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies, and applicable regulations. • Lead and supervise accounting team members responsible for accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial accounting functions. • Prepare, review, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards. • Manage general ledger activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management. • Monitor, analyze, and forecast cash flow, current financial balances, and business performance; provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management. • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow plans and identify opportunities for continuous financial improvement. • Oversee accounts payable processes, including expense classification, departmental coding accuracy, and timely payment processing. • Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoice generation, payment tracking, collection progress, and timely receipt of customer payments. • Lead annual and periodic budgeting processes and prepare company budgets based on business objectives. • Create and update revenue and profitability forecasts on a regular basis. • Analyze budget versus actual performance and provide financial insights and reports to management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial planning, including payables, receivables, and operational forecasts. • Share financial knowledge and best practices across the organization to support business improvement. • Ensure compliance with internal policies, including environmental, health, and safety requirements. • Manage accounting staff, including workload distribution, goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development. • Coordinate and manage annual financial audits and interim audits conducted by external parties. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management. ▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum of 10 years of accounting management experience. • Strong experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting. • Proven experience developing company budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term business plans. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting standards. • Ability to work effectively in an international, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising and developing accounting staff. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate alternatives and make sound business decisions. • High level of integrity, business judgment, and ability to maintain confidential information. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and external partners. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial/accounting systems. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. • Ability to prepare clear and effective financial reports and presentations. • Ability to work in a general office environment with extended computer use and standard office activities.
