Job Summary
The IB DP Mathematics Facilitator is responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics instruction within the IB Diploma Programme. The role includes teaching mathematical concepts using inquiry-based methods, supporting students in problem-solving and analytical thinking, and preparing them for internal and external IB assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
Teach
IB DP Mathematics
to Grades 11 and 12 (SL & HL levels).
Handle
Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA)
and/or
Applications & Interpretation (AI)
- based on school requirements.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IB curriculum standards.
- Develop lesson plans, unit plans, and instructional materials.
- Support differentiated learning to meet diverse student needs.
Assessment Responsibilities
Guide students in
Internal Assessments (IA)
- and mathematical explorations.
- Prepare students for
IB External Examinations
- .
- Assess assignments and maintain accurate academic records.
- Provide timely feedback to support student progress.
- Monitor and track student performance.
General Responsibilities
- Participate in IB training workshops and professional development.
- Collaborate with IB faculty for curriculum planning.
- Attend staff meetings, parent meetings, and school events.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Encourage analytical thinking and real-world application of mathematics.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s Degree in
Mathematics
or related field.
Minimum
- 2–5 years teaching experience
- , preferably in senior secondary grades.
Experience in
IB DP Mathematics
- preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge in Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, and Probability.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

- Experience teaching
