About The Role

Job Purpose

To ensure effective implementation of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), ESG, and ESMS requirements across Solar and Wind operational sites by maintaining statutory compliance, managing risks, and promoting a safe and sustainable work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • \* Implement HSE policies, procedures, and company standards at operational sites.
  • \* Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ESG commitments, and client/lender requirements.
  • \* Monitor implementation of ESIA, ESDD, ESMP, and Environmental & Social Action Plan requirements.
  • \* Conduct site inspections, HSE audits, and support ESG assessments; track closure of observations.
  • \* Identify workplace hazards, conduct Risk Assessments/JSA, and ensure effective control measures.
  • \* Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, electrical safety, work at height, lifting, and other critical activities.
  • \* Monitor contractor HSE performance, including competency, training, PPE, work permits, and safe work practices.
  • \* Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • \* Conduct HSE induction, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
  • \* Ensure emergency preparedness through mock drills, fire safety, first aid, and emergency response systems.
  • \* Manage environmental aspects, including hazardous waste, waste segregation, chemical handling, spill control, and authorized disposal.
  • \* Maintain HSE/ESG records, compliance reports, dashboards, and documentation.

Qualification & Experience

  • \* Diploma / / BE in Engineering with Industrial Safety qualification preferred.
  • \* 3–8 years of HSE experience in Solar/Wind/Renewable energy operations.
  • \* Experience in HSE audits, ESIA/ESDD compliance, ESMS implementation, contractor management, and environmental management.
