Job Summary The incumbent supports the development, standardization and continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools and governance frameworks to drive efficiency, compliance and value creation across the organization. The role contributes to the design and deployment of best practices in sourcing and category management, supports performance tracking and reporting, and enables consistency in procurement execution. In addition, the incumbent collaborates with Category Managers and internal stakeholders to enhance procurement capabilities, optimize systems and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives. Main Responsibilities · Support the development and continuous improvement of procurement processes, policies, templates and tools · Promote standardization and best practices across sourcing and category management activities · Conduct data analytics and support reporting on procurement performance metrics (e.g., savings, compliance, KPIs) · Assist in the development and maintenance of procurement dashboards and reporting tools · Contribute to governance activities, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and internal controls · Support sourcing teams with RFx documentation, templates and methodological guidance · Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions · Participate in the optimization and adoption of procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Fieldglass) · Support change management, training and communication initiatives related to procurement processes and tools · Assist in benchmarking and market research to support continuous improvement initiatives · Participate and support department-wide projects Working Conditions The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday and is eligible to participate in CN’s hybrid work model. The role requires minimal travel (up to 20%) within North America and abroad. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and stress with shifting priorities.
