About The Role

Act as a system administrator for enterprise level applications. Develops new applications within supported systems. Completes maintenance tasks on client-side and server-side hardware and software and performs upgrades as needed. Provides technical support and training to end users at expert level. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine. Resolves most questions independently, including issues where only limited standardization exits. Refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Serves as a system administrator for high availability enterprise services. Maintain systems by installing and patching application infrastructure components and administering application settings. Develops new applications within supported systems. Develop, deliver and maintain process documentation and end user training. Provides direction, coordination, and expert advice to Information Technology staff and end users in the resolution to technical issues. Provision user accounts and user security on supported systems. Work both independently and in a team environment on systems supported by the position. Develops programs in scripting languages. Assist in the design, build and configuration of supported systems. Participates in professional activities and keeps up to date with regard to developments in office and classroom technology. Participates on College-wide committees as appropriate. On call to assist in providing system support on a 24-hour basis. Troubleshoot enterprise system and application issues. Performs other duties as assigned.
