Job Title: DOP & Editor Experience: 1+ years Location: Gurugram (On-site) Overview: We are seeking a talented Videographer/Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in videography techniques and video editing software. This role involves capturing high-quality video footage, editing raw footage into compelling narratives, and collaborating with the creative team to produce engaging content across various platforms. The Videographer/Editor will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand's vision to life through captivating visual content. Responsibilities: Conceptualize, plan, and execute video shoots to effectively communicate the desired message and brand identity. Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices to capture high-quality footage in various environments. Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with project objectives, brand guidelines, and target audience preferences. Enhance videos with graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to elevate the overall production value. Collaborate with creative team members, including writers and designers to brainstorm ideas and develop video concepts that resonate with the target audience. Stay updated on industry trends, video production techniques, and editing software advancements to continually improve skills and processes. Manage video projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations. Maintain organized video files and archives for easy access and retrieval. Coordinate with external vendors, talent, and locations as needed for video productions. Assist in the development of video content strategies and contribute creative ideas for engaging storytelling across multiple platforms. Requirements: Proven experience as a Videographer/Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing video projects across various genres and formats. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar programs. Solid understanding of videography principles, including composition, lighting, audio and camera operation. Excellent storytelling skills and the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling narratives. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. Creative mindset with a passion for exploring innovative approaches to video production and editing. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a team environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communication, or related field (preferred but not required). Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects and color correction techniques is a plus.
