This position also requires corrections experience. The Director, Partnership Development Operations provides operations-related guidance to a team that studies, evaluates, and recommends effective strategies aimed at creating successful business partnerships. Serves as the CoreCivic operational support person for developing proposals and negotiating contracts. Participates directly in the development of responses to inquiries from government partners. Effectively utilizes resources within the company to offer safe and secure solutions at competitive pricing levels. Provides operations-related guidance to a team that studies, evaluates, and recommends effective strategies aimed at creating successful business partnerships. Participates in creating transactional strategies and monitors the proposal development process. Effectively utilizes resources within the company to offer safe and secure solutions at competitive pricing levels. Directs the company’s efforts at evaluating and responding to business opportunities by using knowledge of contracting terms and the procurement process of government entities at all levels. Participates directly in the development of responses to inquiries from government partners. Promotes the development of new and resourceful partnership ideas. Utilizes business acumen and innovation to develop strategies on gaining new and retaining existing business. Relies upon problem solving, troubleshooting, promoting, planning and organizational skills to evaluate and finalize business opportunities. Analyzes the product and service offerings of competitors and develops plans to promote CoreCivic's competitive advantages. Assimilates and processes new information quickly to develop insightful and innovative conclusions by correctly evaluating information for its practical value to the business. Evaluates project feasibility, keeping in mind financial considerations, operational capabilities, and CoreCivic’s strategic direction. Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
