Job Title: Electrician Group Company: CR3 (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Designation: Semi-skilled Position description: Electrician Primary Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Install electrical wiring, cable trays, conduits, junction boxes, control panels, switchgear, and distribution boards. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment. Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments. Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, voltage checks, and functional testing. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLD), and technical specifications. Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications, applicable standards, and safety regulations. Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work completion documentation. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other disciplines during project execution. Maintain housekeeping of work areas and ensure proper storage of electrical tools and equipment. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, and equipment abnormalities immediately. Additional Responsibilities: Stop work if unsafe conditions are identified. Refuse to perform work without proper permits or safety requirements. Educational qualifications preferred Degree Type: Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology or Field specialization : Electrical Required Certification/s: Chargeman Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) is an added advantage (AO, A1, A4 or equivalent depending on job scope) Work Experience: 2–5 years of electrical maintenance experience. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power Plant, or Industrial facilities. Required Skills: Electrical installation practices. Preventive maintenance techniques. Electrical troubleshooting. Reading electrical drawings.
