Job Summary
The Web Developer is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of systems and networks. The role involves proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of IT services.
Job Description
We are looking for a Web Developer who will design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end applications using modern frameworks and technologies. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City .
What You'll Do
- Write comprehensive unit tests before developing code to ensure robust and maintainable codebases
- Follow TBD practices to minimize merge conflicts and ensure continuous integration
- Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure provisioning
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test,
and deployment processes
- Implement SRE practices to manage and improve the reliability and availability of systems
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline and across the software delivery process to ensure secure deployments and operations
- Continuously analyze and improve the performance of applications and infrastructure to achieve faster lead times and higher deployment frequencies
- Incident Management: Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and prevent recurrence of issues
What You'll Need
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on DevOps practices
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end development used for enterprise level applications, serverless architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event Driven Architecture, Microservices, Architecture
- Front End: React JS
- Workflow: any workflow framework with preference for temporal.io
- Core: Java and/or Node.js
- Business logic: Oracle PL/SQL (preferred), or any relational databases (MySQL or MSSQL)
- Database: PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, or any relational database
- Reports: PowerBI
- Integration: Azure integration services (API Management, Service Bus, Event hub/grid, Azure Data Factory), RESTful
API Development
- Experience with TDD, TBD, IaC, CI/CD, and SRE practices
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible,
CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in using Distributed Application Runtime (dapr), Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling (KEDA)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Understanding of security best practices in the DevOps lifecycle
- Experience creating micro-services and developing APIs from scratch with segregation of concern employed in the
design to ensure availability and resiliency of the service
- Experience with workflows like Spring Workflow or Temporal or experience creating custom workflow using step functions or similar tech stack from scratch
- Experience setting up service package(s) along with its infrastructure from scratch using terraform and showing end to
end ownership of the service from design to deployment along with setting up the operational processes for the service
