Medical Lab Scientist - Trainer - Transfusion Services

Vitalant is hiring an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientists to bring skilled technical support to our Transfusion Services team. Your impact as a Medical Lab Scientist is vital. Seeking an enthusiastic Scientist who loves mentoring and training in Blood Bank.

• Base Pay: $32.17 - $42.55 / hour
• Schedule: Days Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

As a Med Lab Scientist, you'll get to

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, resource and mentor--promoting continuous learning and technical excellence across the team.
• Conduct New Hire Trainings CLIA competencies and Blood Bank Technical Training

Requirements

We will accept MLS II-III for this Trainer role.

Medical Lab Scientist II

• MLS/BB certification required.
• 2 years in a clinical laboratory setting required.
• Pay: $35.89/hour - $37/hour

Medical Lab Scientist III

• ​SBB certification preferred. MLS/BB certification required.
• 3 years lab experience with 1-year IRL required.
• 2 years lead/charge experience required.
• Pay $41.27/hour - $42.55/hour
