Position Summary
- Databeat is looking for an experienced, ambitious, and performance-driven Business
- Development Manager with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business
- development, enterprise sales, strategic account management, and customer acquisition.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building
- strong client relationships, managing the complete sales lifecycle, and consistently achieving
- revenue targets while representing Databeat's values and business objectives.
- This role requires exceptional business acumen, consultative selling capabilities, commercial
- negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- ● Identify, qualify, and acquire new business opportunities across domestic and
- international markets.
- ● Develop strategic plans to expand Databeat's customer portfolio and market presence.
- ● Generate high-quality leads through networking, referrals, market research, industry
- events, digital platforms, and strategic partnerships.
- ● Build a robust sales pipeline and maintain healthy business opportunities at every stage
- of the sales funnel.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- ● Own the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- ● Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, business presentations, and
- commercial discussions.
- ● Prepare proposals, RFIs, RFPs, quotations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and
- contractual documentation.
- ● Negotiate commercial terms while ensuring mutually beneficial business outcomes.
- ● Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management
- ● Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and
- stakeholders.
- ● Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic client accounts.
- ● Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through proactive communication and relationship
- management.
- ● Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and account expansion.
Market Intelligence
- ● Analyze market trends, industry developments, competitor strategies, and customer
- requirements.
- ● Identify emerging business opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.
- ● Provide actionable market insights to senior leadership.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- ● Work closely with Delivery, Recruitment, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and
- Leadership teams to ensure seamless execution of client engagements.
- ● Coordinate internal resources to ensure timely proposal submissions and project
- initiation.
- ● Maintain accurate business forecasts and sales reports using CRM platforms.
Governance & Compliance
- ● Ensure adherence to organizational policies, ethical business practices, and compliance
- standards.
- ● Maintain confidentiality of business information and customer data.
Required Qualifications
- ● Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a
- related field.
- ● MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- ● Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Key
- Account Management, or Strategic Sales.
- ● Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business revenue targets.
- ● Experience managing end-to-end B2B sales engagements.
- ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ● Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- ● Ability to build long-term client relationships.
- ● Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics,
- or similar platforms.
- ● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Information Security & ISO 27001 Compliance
- Security is at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you will be strictly required to uphold our
- Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies in alignment with ISO/IEC 27001
- standards. Responsibilities include safeguarding sensitive asset data, completing mandatory
- security awareness training, reporting potential security incidents or vulnerabilities immediately,
- and ensuring that daily operations comply with our rigorous data protection protocols.
