Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / Automation Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in test automation, CI/CD implementation, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Cypress, JavaScript, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes. The role involves designing automated testing frameworks, managing CI/CD pipelines, containerizing applications, and improving software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software delivery.
Automate build, deployment, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Manage and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation and configuration management tools.
Deploy, configure, and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and stability.
Configure logging, alerting, and observability solutions for proactive system monitoring.
Ensure platform security, compliance, and access control across infrastructure environments.
Troubleshoot production, infrastructure, and deployment-related issues effectively.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement incident resolution measures.
Optimize system performance, scalability, and overall infrastructure availability.
Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams for seamless delivery operations.
Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
Drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
Strong knowledge of Version Control Systems including Git, GitLab, and GitHub.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Exposure to container orchestration tools including Kubernetes and Helm.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as OpenStack.
Knowledge of infrastructure automation and scripting using Shell/Bash scripting.
Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and Firewall management.
Experience in configuring and managing web servers such as NGINX and Apache.
Exposure to system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster management processes.
Strong Linux System Administration and server management skills.

Good to Have

Experience with Cypress automation framework and CI/CD integration.
Knowledge of DevSecOps and security scanning tools.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Exposure to OpenStack environments.
Cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
